QTads is a cross-platform, multimedia interpreter for Tads games, compatible with HTML TADS. Both Tads versions in use today (Tads 2 and Tads 3) are supported. It has been tested in Linux and Mac OS X, but it should compile and run in many more. "Tads" is short for "Text Adventure Development System."
Quest is an attempt to create a modern text adventure game system from scratch. It lets authors create sophisticated games complete with graphics, sounds and videos, all without having to write code themselves. A full visual editor is included.
