Technical Issue Help : cant delete

Hi Jimsbairn, Sorry to hear about your XP troubles. Unfortunately this isn't the right place to get help - we're pretty far from Windows experts here. Maybe the SpyBot FAQ can help you?

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : Browser oddities

Hi LYRIK, It's ironic (and sad) that an open source oriented site performs so miserably on Konqueror - and for that I apologize. However, our site metrics show that konqueror usage is just sooo low that it doesn't seem worth the overhead for us.

Ohloh General Discussion : Duplicate projects : coherence

Thanks Damien, Awesome gravatar, btw. I merged the info from 13008 into the older project (6011), which also now has the url http://www.ohloh.net/projects/coherence.

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : I would like to build a maven plugin ...

Greetings AC, We haven't adopted a standard project schema (yet). As they say, the problem with standards is that there are so many to choose from! It looks like DOAP and POM have gained/attained ... [More] some momentum, while PAD seems dead-ish (I haven't seen much PAD use). Alternatively, Freshmeat's schema, while not 'standard', would be very convenient . Your request is very reasonable and somewhat related to a feature we'd like to implement soon-ish: single project title namespace. The goal would be to move to more useful urls (think: /projects/gaim rather than project/3242). So, if I understand your request correctly, we'd have to add POM groupId and artifactID fields to our project properties and allow the ability to refer to projects with the url you describe. Finally, we'd have to render the appropriate POM XML files -- right? I'm theoretically inclined to do this, except for one nagging question: for what percentage of projects would POM be relevant? Ohloh General Discussion : ohloh slashdotted

Hi mithro, I made a change to the project page - let me know what you think. Going to a fluid layout instead of fixed might be possible, but not it wouldn't be trivial - so I can't get to it right ... [More] away. Let me know if you have other suggestions to improve the site. Thanks a ton for your feedback. [Less]

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : There is a codebase history graph in ...

Hi jasperdejong, The graphs were originally as you suggested, but people complained that it made it easier to misread project histories at a glance. Almost every project code history graphed looked ... [More] identical (the difference was primarily in the axis labels). I believe the right answer is to have both - have a standardized summary of the project metrics (where all projects are compared similarly), and then to have a drilldown section that shows the project details.
