Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : external download link issue

Hi jigounov, The reason is a bit cryptic - we require an http 'post' for that external_download URL to work (since it will increment the external download count). I think we originally did this to ... [More] prevent crawlers from augmenting the download counts. Do you have a specific scenario in mind that we could help out with? [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Need help on bedework configuration to produce standard jsr168 portlet wars.

@papuniitkgp: The ohloh forums aren't your best bet here. I suggest you try the Bedework user mailing list (http://www.bedework.org/mailman/listinfo/bedework-users). Best of luck, -jay

Ohloh General Discussion : contact people in Ohloh

Hi andrea, I'm not sure I know exactly what you mean. If you want to reach Ohloh people, email me anytime at [email protected]. If you want to reach people from other projects, we don't directly offer ... [More] that yet - although it will become possible fairly soon as more people start journaling. You can also catch us on IRC in the #ohloh channel on freenode.net. [Less]

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : Ohloh shouldn't need to know my Jabber status

Hanlon's razor is in effect ;-). I'm using #xmpp4r-simple and the library itself is pulling these shenanigans. The good news is that I'm currently rewriting this code so I will take the opportunity ... [More] to try to fix this. Just to be clear: we do not track or store the presence info. [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Import failed for Syx

Hi lethalman, Our git troubles are related to out-of-sequence changes to the git repo. It naively expects any new commits to be newer in time than when i last synced. So when someone merges some ... [More] commit authored some while back (like when merging a significant branch), it gets confused. The good news is that since Git importing and processing is pretty quick, we just re-pull the code from scratch. The bad news is that this is still a manual process - for now. [Less]
