Feedback Forum : feedback and bugs

Hi Andy, the second projet was rated for testing purpose before writing the initial post, so removing ranking for both is fine for me :) About the kudo ran of my friend, it was 7 before he creates ... [More] his account and without any kudos. Right after the creation he was rank 1 and a bit later he was back at 7. Weird, isn't it ? Original BSD licencse is rarely used lately because the copyright owner is Berkeley, most of the BSD projects are using 3 clause license. Check the netbsd project which is a direct Berkeley net tape descendant and you'll see that ohloh only find 45 BSD licensed files (EDIT: i just noticed that netbsd also have enlistment problems that maybe explain the few licenses found). Anyway, thanks for the upcoming parser update :) A last thing i've discovered recently about the openbsd project enlistment : it looks like the ohloh site is doing a test on the cvs server with the ls command. This fails on many servers due to security measures i think, maybe you could provide a checkbox to bypass this test. EDIT: the freebsd and netbsd projects also seems to have failure when getting the src cvs module. Thanks, Damien [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Darcs source code management system

It would be nice if you would make your lists viewable somewhere so we can see how near the top of the list something is. It might also be nice if we could say which unsupported languages and version ... [More] control systems a project uses. And if it wasn't obvious based on the thread I'm posting this in: I too want darcs support, since I've done (and do) work on a number of projects developed with darcs. I expect that it would be a good idea to mainly associate people with their darcs contributions automatically based on email address, though I guess you could have figured that out anyway. (It's very easy to make a contribution to a darcs-based project and forget about it entirely). [Less]

Feedback Forum : m4 language support needed

I second that. And having experience in that is a good indicator for being a project maintainer.

Technical Issue Help : GPL license conflict warning

Hi Brian, Thanks for adding your project! The license we're reporting here is the Lesser GPL also known as GNU Library license. This one doesn't have GPL in it's text. Instead, search for GNU Lesser ... [More] General Public License. The file in your project with this license is same/src/gui/Navigator.java Let me know if I can be of more help, Andy [Less]

Feedback Forum : Loss of history after branch rename in SVN

You've run in to the same bug as countless other people have posted about ... specifically, ohloh doesn't follow history across svn copies. To see what ohloh is seeing, do svn log --stop-on-copy on ... [More] your working copy ... the first log message is r6481 | ion | 2007-07-10 18:46:27 +0000 (Tue, 10 Jul 2007) | 2 lines Rename jaws-php6 to jaws2 Edit: Further reading: http://www.ohloh.net/forums/10/topics/433 http://www.ohloh.net/forums/10/topics/336 [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Exclude directory from reports?

Nice find on the pop-ups not displaying well in Safari. I still see this behavior on our positions edit page. Adding it to our list of things to take a look at. Thanks!
