Feedback Forum : define "stack"

hi npryce, You're right - we're guilty of stretching the term. We just couldn't come up with a better alternative. Suggestions are appreciated. What might help mitigate your current complaint is ... [More] that we're planning on expanding this feature soon whereby people can create multiple, possibly categorized stacks (dev tools, productivity apps, production server, etc..). I realize it doesn't address the strict enterprise-only nature of the word stack, but it would help segregate the random-ness of today's stacks (where I might include Vim and MySQL). [Less]

Feedback Forum : SCMs...

hi Moo, We're trying to keep our top-line nav menu (home/projects/people...) as general as possible. While I agree it would be interesting to see stats by SCM (especially if we supported more than ... [More] cvs/subversion/git!) - I don't think it would be as interesting, say, as Licenses - which we still haven't had time to come up with yet. I guess I'm not saying No - it's just that we have a large list of other priorities at this point. [Less]

Ohloh General Discussion : Please add the Markdown language

A number of projects use Markdown for their documentation or wiki. The extension .mdwn identifies a markdown file. Could Ohloh please add support for this language? Two projects I know of: ikiwiki ... [More] (http://www.ohloh.net/projects/3870) and the Portland State Aerospace Society (http://www.ohloh.net/projects/6940). [Less]

Ohloh General Discussion : 2-clause BSD license is not parsed properly

Thanks for reporting this Ed, Took me a while but have a fix - that third clause is an easy way to differentiate between files owned by The Regents of California which use the BSD license and files ... [More] with a BSD derived license, like yours. Please let me know if the new results look correct. I didn't see a page describing this link at http://www.opensource.org/licenses. If you know of such a link, would you please edit the license page I created and/or let me know what that link is so I can edit it. Thanks in advance, Andy [Less]

Feedback Forum : OCaml

Sorry for the late reply, indeyets... Our parser does not read OCaml, so all of the *.ml files are being ignored by our system. We do recognize the other languages in this project -- Objective-C, C ... [More] , and Lisp. Of those, Objective-C is the most common, and that's why our system labels this project as Objective-C. I admit we are pretty far behind in adding support for more languages to the system, but I will put OCaml in the queue... Thanks, Robin [Less]
