Ohloh General Discussion : Under what license is Ohloh's content released?

Thanks for the feedback -- and your patience. So I think we have something now that is actionable. I decided that the back link language really didn't make much sense. So now it reads. Subject to the ... [More] terms and conditions of this section, Ohloh grants you a royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide, non-transferable, non-exclusive, limited license to use, reproduce, modify and publicly display the Ohloh Materials (Materials) on Ohloh’s website in and/or on any of your online publications and/or web pages, provided that you agree to attribute Ohloh as the source of any Materials. Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : I would like to build a maven plugin ...

Greetings AC, We haven't adopted a standard project schema (yet). As they say, the problem with standards is that there are so many to choose from! It looks like DOAP and POM have gained/attained ... [More] some momentum, while PAD seems dead-ish (I haven't seen much PAD use). Alternatively, Freshmeat's schema, while not 'standard', would be very convenient . Your request is very reasonable and somewhat related to a feature we'd like to implement soon-ish: single project title namespace. The goal would be to move to more useful urls (think: /projects/gaim rather than project/3242). So, if I understand your request correctly, we'd have to add POM groupId and artifactID fields to our project properties and allow the ability to refer to projects with the url you describe. Finally, we'd have to render the appropriate POM XML files -- right? I'm theoretically inclined to do this, except for one nagging question: for what percentage of projects would POM be relevant? Technical Issue Help : Pike project database corrupted?

Hi Stephen, I've scheduled new counts for both Chilimoon and Caudium. I believe the branch mixing was caused by a bug in Ohloh which we fixed just a few days ago. I haven't investigated this case ... [More] closely but it looks like the some problem. Because the bug is now fixed, the recount should clean up the branching. Again, let me know if anything still looks wrong after the recounts. Thanks, Robin [Less]

[More] KDElibs commit. KDElibs subversion repository is part of KDE subversion repository. I don't think that's right. Mike [Less]

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : Shirt size

Working in free software sometimes means that people want to send you a shirt. When they do this, they have to ask for your shirt size. It would be useful to store a developer's shirt size among all the other information kept here about them.
