The Ohcount Project : Two patches

Hi Robin, I have written a lot of DCL code for a business aplication I support at work; my ES40 Emulator Project (12354) has one DCL file (a build script), if you could recount it, that would be nice.

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : "All New Projects".... is wrong

Looks like the same problem is present with Top Gainers / All Projects By Gain Also the tabs for people seem to be a bit weird, I'm not sure if the differences are a bug or just data being out of ... [More] sync. Some people who show up on the full pages of Kudo Gainers and Top Ranked don't show up on the home page despite being higher. And the All New Accounts link just goes to the list sorted by Kudo Rank. [Less]

Technical Issue Help : IP links in "Recent Reviews" box

The problem is caused when someone browses Ohloh using our IP address instead of our domain name. The footer is cached, and sometimes the footer cache expires and is redrawn when someone is browsing ... [More] with an IP address. The result is that everyone sees this cached version of the footer with IP addresses. You might fairly ask why full web address including domain name (and not just the local path) needs to be in our footer links in the first place, but the reasons are, well, complicated. :-) The problem has now gone away through a brute redirect. Anyone who tries to browse Ohloh using an IP address now gets redirected to www.ohloh.net. This is probably not the right thing to do, but it's a very quick fix for a nagging problem. [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Can't see my whole stack

FYI - I made it possible to view all your stacked projects; go to the bottom of the page and use the pagination UI to go to other pages (only appears if you have more than 150 projects in your stack).

Feedback Forum : How to add DCL support to Ohloh?

I figured it out already. I now have a working DCL parser. I'll create a patch and submit it.

Ohloh API Discussion : Advanced querying for collections

Thanks for your note Robin. I understand there are other priorities, but consider that a fully functional API is the best way to get developers to work for you on features you don't have time/resources to implement ;)

FOSS Questions : DevLib: Sharing Library Development Expertise

Hi, I'd like to announce the beginning of a simple documentation project to help beginners and seasoned developers alike with common problems and introductory material for developing libraries in your ... [More] favorite languages. Topics cover standard practices, common problems, how to begin, etc, all coming straight from the community. Check out the wiki, currently found at http://devlib.wikidot.com/. Please, sign up and begin contributing! This project is very young and therefore lacks a great deal of content, but that's where you come in. Take your favorite language and start contributing to the knowledge of the community. For a good reference on how to structure, or, at least, to start building and focusing the language's page, look at the Ruby language page. Your opinions and expertise are welcome and desired!
