We have now an automatic changelog, to gives everyone a better picture about what's happening in the eGroupWare development and a look forward to the next release: It is generated hourly from the commit messages of the ... [More] developers and allows everyone to follow what's happening at the very moment in the eGroupWare development. It tracks as well the changes in the development version (trunk), as fixes in the released version. The SVN statistics show the developers by number of commits, number of changed files or length of the log messages for all branches and a timespan of the last week, the last month or the whole timespan since the start of the eGW project 3 years ago. Cornelius and I will soon enable our new trackers for bug reports, feature requests and patches. They allow to vote on bugs or features and to set bounties on having them fixed or implemented. I hope this gives the developers a better feedback about the needs of our users and our users more influence about what's happening in the project. [Less]

We've checked the project into SVN, so those interested, you can check it out. You need eGroupWare 1.2rc3 on MySQL and PHP5. (0 comments)
