The eGroupWare Developers Conference can be considered a great success. After two days we were all happy ;) For new eGW members it was pretty tiring, for the experienced members it was good opportunity to get feedback from others. All in all it ... The 0.2 release had some pretty bad bugs, including:* I forgot to commit some of my reporting code* I forgot a ; in manufacturing* Extra indexes causing setup errorsHopefully all have been fixed now. I'm not sure about the last one though. (0 comments)

The conference is scheduled from Friday the 24. November 17h to Sunday 26. November 2006 16h. It will hold at the Location of the Stylite GmbH (www.stylite.de) in Kirchheimbolanden (close to Frankfurt, Germany):Topics for the conference:future ... [More] direction & technics for eGW developmentlearn to develop applications for eGWget to know the other developerssee the schedule of the conference and participatns in the wikiThere will be a live stream (realplayer) and a chat availible, so other developers - not directly attending - can participate! The stream will be archived for later viewing too. Target audience / participants:active eGW developers / project-memberspeople interested in developing GPL apps for eGWpeople who develop company intern apps for eGWIf you hav'nt registered allready, please contact Ralf Becker and Nigel Vickers as soon as possible! Because of the generous offer of Nigel Vickers from the Stylite GmbH, the cost for the location and the overnight stay of the GPL developers (current and future) are already covered. Thanks :-) Unnecessary to say, we explicitly invite international participants, and the conference language will depend on the abilities of the participants. At LinuxWorld Expo Germany, eGroupWare and DBMail unveiled plans to jointly develop new email collaboration software. DBMail also released DBMail 2.2. and launched a cooperative support program. eGroupWare chooses DBMail as the preferred email ... [More] server.The complete Text is availible in German , English version will follow soon. This partnership will give eGroupWare the same excellent support we already have for Cyrus with LDAP, or even a better one. Thanks to Lars, our trunk (development version) already has a comparable DBMail support. [Less]
