For local development, I have installed Apache 2.2. JS2E 5.0 and Tomcat 6.0 using fairly vanilla folder names on my Windows XP machine. I would like to do my website development in a folder off the root called C:\websites, with each website in a subfolder. How do I configure OpenEdit to support this development environment?   Thanks

By tools I mean the essential elements of the OE framework, including xconf configuration files, layouts, page streaming, request parameter handling, session variables, permissions, etc... The flexibility is obvious-- we build complete filemanagers, blogs, and image archives using those same tools. The power comes from the fact that each of these tools encapsulates behavior that we use again and again to make these features. And yet there is still more possible extraction. Release Notes : The Product Details page has been completely revamped since our last release and now includes ... [More] features such as: Related Products: Related products have been improved.Create a new related version of an asset. The related version will get all of the metadata associated with the original asset. When editing the original asset, you will have the option of updating all of the related assets as well. All related products can now be viewed from the product details page. Product versioning: Upload an updated image for your products. OpenEdit will track all of the previous versions of the image. Improved Media Previews: We have updated our video and audio embedded previews to better support more browsers and file types. This area will continue to see improvement in the coming weeks. Printer Friendly MetaData Page: View a flat file containing all of the metadata for an asset for easy printing. You can also e-mail this page to any group of OpenEdit users to alert them to a new asset they may be interested in. Other Improvements: New MetaData types: We now allow for new types of metadata including multi-select checkboxes and tables. Improved File Manager: Our best file manager tool yet! We have improved the look and feel of the file manager, making it easier to use. New Results View Option: You can now view your browse/search results in an easy-to-read list format. Just click the view button on the top right corner of the results page. Improved Security: Closed a vulnerability that allowed for Cross-Site-Scripting attacks. Happy New Year from OpenEdit! 2008 was the best year ever for OpenEdit and we thank all of our clients and users for that! In 2008 we moved into our new office's in Cincinnati, Ohio and Valparaiso, Chile. We chose the northern end of Cincinnati ... [More] because it was somewhat central to our homes, well, sort of since I continue to commute from Dayton... Chile has turned out to be a great fit for us, OpenEdit shows continued growth in South America and Valparaiso is near Christopher's boyhood hometown! We had our first ever "OpenEdit User Group" meeting last spring. It was nice meeting our clients face to face. I'm still deciding in the current economic climate, is it best to have our next User Group meeting via Skype...? Suggestions? The OpenEdit development team continued to make OpenEdit the best digital asset management solution available today, open source or otherwise! The focus of OpenEdit DAM this past year was to further develop and refine OpenEdit into an enterprise digital asset management solution for marketing departments and firms. It's been quite a success for our client's using OpenEdit DAM - millions of digital assets are being managed and tracked using OpenEdit DAM! We worked with both old and new clients this year, from a proud dad who needed a digital asset management solution to manage his family's photos, to the world's largest directory assistance publisher needing a global DAM solution to effectively manage and produce advertisements over four continents. And onwards to a corporate marketing department who needed a solution to manage and track millions (!) of media assets. I have added my Servlet to web.xml and placed it in WEB-INF/classes. When I attempt to access the servlet at the context I configured I recieve a 404 error. The xml config is fine, I copied it from my working test context. What am I doing wrong ?
