Project Summary
Dimension is a project to create high-performance photo-realistic 3D renderer. The project comprises a general-purpose C ray-tracing library, a Python 3 wrapper module, and a simple client that renders a scene specified by a specialized Python script. The project is in the early development stages; neither the library nor the client is complete.
Dimension is fully parallel to take advantage of everything from dual- and quad-core commodity hardware to massively parallel supercomputers, and in the future, distributed clusters.
