19 October 25. Restarting code analysis here for the new modern Bika LIMS 4 series and all its add-ons.
Bika uses and adds to the Senaite LIMS core that originated from Bika 3. It features the same modular design and core functionality. It has a modern user interface, a well-established API, and a straightforward upgrade path.
Bika extends the core significantly with a curated set of enhancements developed, commissioned, and actively maintained by Bika for real-world laboratory operations.
These range from instrument integrations and COA templates to bulk sample importer, 2-tier sampling locations, billing, time-series visualisation, and many smaller improvements that streamline daily operations. The result is a mature modern feature-rich LIMS.
