The development release 0.15.4 has now been released and is available from http://argouml.tigris.org/download/release0154.html. This release contains a lot of big and small bug fixes and improvements. The most important changes are: New version ... [More] of GEF (0.10.2). The Java web start version is now an integrated part of the build. Please help in verifying and closeing all resolved issues with a target milestone 0.15.4 or earlier. Comments I write this news item while travelling by bus through the beautiful Swedish countryside in south Östergötland. The sun is shining from its morningly low point, lake Järnlunden is still snow-covered and the ground has a very light color from the combination of yellow wintery grass, snow remnants, and morning frost. It is in times like these that I feel lucky that I have the opportunity to do this trip every day. Since the release 0.15.3 the number of unverified issues has dropped. This is thanks to the great work by Alex, Michiel, Michael, and Bob. This is a progress for the quality assurance of the project. We still have a lot of work left with known problems to say the least and I hope that we can increase the pace even further. It feels like finally my work in automating the release procedure is paying off as I was able to include also the signing of the jars for java web start. With the right computer it took me just above one our to finish it and after that I improved the script even further to also do the uploading automatically. Ironically the automatic build, the Xenofarm set up, is not working. Because of a disk crash this has to be moved to another host (it follows the Lysator web server) and I have not done the necessary adjustments yet. /Linus [Less]

Among other things, the upload didn't work and needed system administrator rights to fix, one of the machines involved crashed during the build. I deam the risk small since I ran the tests successfully immediatly before the release on what was most likely the exact same code. Comments It seems that the interest for ArgoUML from the users' is increasing. There is a bigger flow of questions reaching me both on the users' list and personally.
