FreeTTS is a speech synthesis system written entirely in Java. It is based upon Flite, a small runtime speech synthesis engine developed at Carnegie Mellon University. Flite is derived from the Festival Speech Synthesis System from the University of Edinburgh and the FestVox project from Carnegie Mellon University.
Orca is a flexible, extensible, and powerful assistive technology for people with visual impairments. Using various combinations of speech synthesis, braille, and magnification, Orca helps provide access to applications and toolkits that support the AT-SPI (e.g., the GNOME desktop).
VICI stands for 'Vocal Interface for Computer Interaction'. It is a .NET 4.0 project utilizing MEF for easily adding new vocal commands and speech synthesis.
