Gitea is a painless self-hosted Git service. You can compare it with GitHub, Bitbucket or Gitlab. The initial development have been done on Gogs but we have forked it and named it Gitea.
Since most documents are stored in a binary format the classical version control systems as they are normally used do not work properly. DocKontrol aims to provide an easy to use interface that works with version controls systems to ease the pain related to managing documents.
