A source-based Linux distribution with a small core developer team. Lunar Linux was forked from Sorcerer by a small team of people lead by Chuck Mead. In 2004 leadership was handed over to Auke Kok. The Lunar Linux core is written in Bash und packages are nothing more than simple Bash scripts as well.
