lwIP is an implementation of the TCP/IP protocol suite focused on reducing resource usage while still having a full scale TCP/IP. lwIP is suitable for embedded systems with ~10KB of free RAM and ~40KB of code ROM.
lwIP features:
- IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP
- Specialized raw API for
... [More] enhanced performance
- Optional Berkeley-alike socket API
- DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
- PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol)
- ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) for Ethernet [Less]
(This is the Netdisco 2 project)
Netdisco is a network management application targeted at large corporate and university networks. Data is collected into a SQL database using SNMP and presented with a web interface and CLI.
Designed for moderate to large networks, configuration information and
... [More] connection data for network devices are retrieved by SNMP. Layer-2 topology protocols such as CDP and LLDP optionally provides automatic discovery of the network topology. Netdisco gets all its data via SNMP polls and DNS queries. It does not use CLI access and has no need for privilege passwords.
The project was originally written by Max Baker and is now lead by a community of developers, headed by Oliver Gorwits, Jeroen van Ingen Schenau, and Eric Miller. [Less]
We provide continuous integrated IT Discovery and Monitoring.
- Discovery cannot set off security alarms
- Monitoring is integrated with discovery and scalable almost w/o limit
- Extensible discovery includes servers, services, switches, packages, checksums, containers, and system settings
-
... [More] We provide security audits, alerts, visualizations, and risk scores
We find systems you've forgotten about (which are likely to be used in intrusions) and services you're not monitoring, which add risk. The discovery produces an always-up-to-date CMDB which provides a detailed graph model of your infrastructure. We discover what systems are running licensed software so you can minimize your risk and cost.
Architecture is fully-distributed - minimizing impact on servers and networks. [Less]
The iputils package is set of small useful utilities for Linux networking. These tools are included in iputils
- arping
- clockdiff
- ninfod
- ping
- rarpd
- rdisc
- tftpd
- tracepath
- traceroute6
This version also fully supports glibc, uClibc and musl-libc.
A utility to detect and resist BIDIRECTIONAL ARP spoofing. It can anti-spoof for not only the local host, but also other hosts in the same subnet. It is also a handy helper for gateways which don't work well with ARP.
