After a long time without updates, I am back. I just love the way geolocation works. They detect your ip and can point your city or even your latitude and longitude. Also I love maps google API. This is such a great feature. I am thinking about combining both to make the xoops geolocation where ... [More] do members come from.This module will look up for your location when visiting a site and show in a map from maps google where do members come from.I started looking first for databases of geolocation that use ip2cities and found a few. I am downloading some of them to look at. If anyone has some experience with this and want to point me some better database please do comment this news.Hoping for feedback. [Less]

Well it is 10:00 AM here at Brasilia. Yesterday I have finished the code part of Yogurt. Tested it on a new clean xoops install and worked fine. I have started writing the install.txt putting tips about redirecting the userinfo.php from xoops to ... [More] index.php of yogurt module. I have to write something about renaming xoops js function $ to xoops$ like phppp recomended me to do and also about changing the theme css to remove the square from li tag or maybe change the css from yogurt using cascade style. I think everything is ready for the beta release. I could have released this yesterday but as xoops.org was kind of offilne i decided to postopone for today. Unfortunately it is still out, so I 'll release it today here on my site. Later I'll post a news in xoops.org when it is available.Please I will centralize all bug reports and feature requests in one place , probably sourceforge.net yogurt page of the project.
