Project Summary

A convenience wrapper for gvim/mvim --remote(-tab)-silent to open files in an existing instance of GVim or MacVim.

The Windows script has been verified on Windows 7 only. However, it should work fine on other recent versions of Windows too. The Linux script has been verified with posh, dash and bash, so it should work fine on any POSIX compliant shell.

This README documents the usage of these scripts. Further, it also documents how to create context menu options to open files in an existing instance of GVim or MacVim in various desktop environments.
