Project Summary
Apache Usergrid is a Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) that makes like easier for app developers by providing data storage, query, user authentication, push notifications and other services, all available via a REST API. Usergrid is a Java-based web application that is backed by Cassandra for data storage, and ElasticSearch for data indexing and query. Usergrid has been open source and used in production since 2011 and joined the Apache Software Foundation in 2014.
