Project Summary
spop is a free client for Spotify, a music streaming service that allows instant listening to specific tracks or albums, with virtually no buffering delay.
spop is not really similar to the official Spotify client. It is inspired by mpd: it runs as a daemon, and a client (whether command-line or GUI) allows the user to do searches, select and edit playlists, and play tracks.
At the moment, spop is really young, and it does not yet do any of that. But hopefully new features will come soon!
