Project Summary

Simple Access is going to simplify role based ACL model.The project explains the words: in the specified REALM, one ROLE owns a set of OPERATIONs(PRIVILEGEs) on some RESOURCEs. The model details are described below.(To be well understood, let's compare the model to library system in real world)

REALM: the domain where ROLE lives, also REALM holds many RESOURCEs. As departments in library.
ROLE : the host in the REALM, he owns certain OPERATIONs on some RESOURCES. As librarian in library.
RESOURCE: the object of OPERATIONs. Some thing like books, magazines in library.
OPERATION: some action on RESOURCE. For example, books can be borrowed.

We plan to implement the model as one web component which based on Spring and webwork2. Also, we try to simplify
the APIs. We focus on access management but not user management. But, we leave UserProvider interface for integrating the two part.
