The ProjectLibre team are the founders and sole developers of project management software that was acquired by Serena Software. They wanted the cloud technology and lay the open source software dormant for 4 years.... the ProjectLibre team has updated and is completely rewriting. There will also be server side software being released! The software is compatible with Microsoft Project 2010, 2007 and 2003. You can open existing Microsoft Office Project files within ProjectLibre on Linux, Mac or Windows. There are Gantt Chart, PERT Chart, calendars, costing etc..... In the first 10 days it is actively being used to manage projects in 135 countries!
