Project Summary
PIE is the Python Internet Engine. It is designed for building webpages and dynamic content using XML as a backbone, and python as a supporting scripting language. PIE script files are XML and can contain embedded python code. PIE is capable of processing database connections, conditional statements and looping. It is designed to be easily extensible so that you can write your own tag functions and include them in your script directory. Because the core language is python, writing new script tags is very easy.
