The United States Congress is currently considering two bills, known as the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect IP Act (PIPA). The passage of these bills would be extremely harmful to the internet community that we all share and love. Learn

more about SOPA / PIPA and, if you are a Unites States citizen, tell your Congressman and Senator that you are in favor of a free and open internet!Wikipedia wrote:SOPA and PIPA put the burden on website owners to police user-contributed material and call for the unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small sites won't have sufficient resources to defend themselves. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding sources for their foreign competitors, even if copyright isn't being infringed. Foreign sites will be blacklisted, which means they won't show up in major search engines. SOPA and PIPA build a framework for future restrictions and suppression.Further reading:Wikipedia's message: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:CongressLookupGoogle's message: https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/Reddit's message: http://blog.reddit.com/2012/01/stopped- ... s-all.htmlWikipedia's article on SOPA (not blacked out): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_ActGoogle search for "SOPA": https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=sopa [Less]

If you are confident with patch files and patching you can use the Patch Files Package.International Support Teams may use the Patch Package in conjunction with the Code Changes to better support users with problematic conflicts during their update process or to help them update code sections. If you are a hoster/provider, you may want to use the Patch Files Package to update all of your client installations. Please ensure you read the INSTALL and README documents in docs/ before proceeding with installation, updates or conversions!Download LocationsThe download is of course available on our downloads page. Our release archive provides all packages we build. Hi everyone, The phpBB Styles Team is proud to announce that the Customisations Database now supports ColorizeIt! What is ColorizeIt?ColorizeIt is an online color scheme editor for forum styles, blog themes and website templates. With only a few
... [More]
simple clicks you can change the color scheme of any forum (phpBB) or blog theme (WordPress and Drupal) without editing any images or html/css files. These are all provided by the ColorizeIt system. How can I use it?Simple: go to the contribution page of the style where you want to change the colours from, for example for prosilver Special Edition it would be this link, once the page loads just click on the "Change Colours" button, and follow the introductions from there. How can I add that to my submission? You don't have to do anything For all approved Styles the ColorizeIt feature is enabled by default. For Styles Authors this means that you will only be able to see/use it when your Style has been approved. What about the Colorize Styles I have submitted to the Customisations Database? All Style Authors will be contacted if they have a ColorizeIt Style, at which point they will be given the option to keep one Style in our Customisations Database while the others will be removed so users will not be confused by multiple ColorizeIt Style versions. Special ThanksThe Styles Team would like to thank CyberAlien for his work and support during the integration. BugsIf you find any bugs please report them to our Customisations Database Bug Tracker. DiscussYou may discuss this announcement here. Thank you,The phpBB Styles Team [Less]
