Project Summary
Paste Monkey can be called "Yet Another Paste Bin", but Paste Monkey is also a RIA Paste Bin. Developed on CakePHP 1.2 for rapid development, this app works perfectly without AJAX.
Using jQuery, plus various libraries, the application comes alive with page transitions, colorful effects and feedback, and quick response and loading times.
The main plugin that helps achive this is the Live Query plugin.
It uses the GeSHi library for code highlighting.
The application also has many other features, such as the ability to download the code, as well as edit the code online and create a diff file between them. It features a pinboard for short notices
