Lazarus is the first choice not only for reuse of Delphi code but also for cross-platform development of new projects. Highlights are the established code and example base, widgetsets allowing for sharing of the same source code among many platforms and the high performance of the generated code.

Lazarus is a very powerful ide which allows to make applications of all kinds and of great quality, in addition to having documentation and a very active forum. It is a highly recommended tool
