(http://konsolscript.sourceforge.net/web/2020/01/15/kage-studio-early-beta-released/) Since dumping of the backlog last March 2018, finally, I’ve made progress! This project being open source in nature haven’t implemented everything listed on the ... [More] backlog. But during our internal testing, I’ve identified top 5 functionalities that needs to be prioritized. And prioritize I did. So, to celebrate this milestone, I’m releasing an early BETA of Kage Studio for 64-bit Windows: https://sourceforge.net/projects/konsolscript/files/studio/kagestudio_v0.20200114_win64.zip Above binary has been tested to run on Windows 10. The source code is also available. As always has been. I’d love to hear what you think of the tool. I’ll be collating internal backlogs and your feature/functionality wish list for a revamped backlog that I’ll be posting soon. ~creek23 [Less]

I have tried the Debian, Slitaz, and Fedora. All showed that Quixie build 090410 runs out of the box. I was intrigued with ArchLinux, so I tried downloading a Filipino flavored one, called KahelOS. Installing KahelOS was not as user-friendly as ... [More] installing Ubuntu but I managed my way through and Quixie did work like a charm — just downloaded and extracted the file and it runs without error. Right now, I’m completely unaware how to package an app for ArchLinux. [Less]

It’s been some time since KonsolScript was tested to run quite well on Arch Linux. After finally having enough time testing out the installer provided by Samuel Wang for Arch Linux and related distro, the installer is now being recognized by ... [More] KonsolScript Development Team as official KonsolScript installer for Arch Linux platform. You can download the installer from the download page. http://sourceforge.net/projects/konsolscript/files/pre-releases/Quixie%20%28pre-release%29/quixie-2010.04.02-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz/download To install, just open a terminal and type: sudo pacman -U quixie-2010.04.02-1-i686.pkg.tar.xv [Less]

Thanks to DJ Peters’s FBSound, Quixie could play sounds now. It supports all of FreeKE’s Sound functions except Sound:Stop(). It supports WAV, MP3, and OGG. Sorry, but no MIDI for Quixie. Download it from Quixie’s wiki page. ... [More] http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/konsolscript/index.php?title=Quixie DEB package for Debian and derived distros to follow. [Less]

November ended with the highest recorded download count. KonsolScript is now on its fourth year since its “Hello World”, consuming a total of 6GB bandwidth of downloads. I’ve been mostly alone in developing KonsolScript but some geeks and hackers ... [More] have shared some of their precious time to help me get a bug fixed, new features added, and processes optimized. With KonsolScript’s fourth year of existence, my sincere thanks to MySoft, sir_mud, DJ Peters, Kristopher Windsor, Lachie Dazdarian, and others who’s name I forgot. Happy KonsolScripting! [Less]

New year has brought us a new developer. Everyone, please welcome Brian Matheson. A hacker from Washington, United States. He will be the maintainer for the KonsolScript Editor. This means that he will be the main man to talk to on everything that ... [More] concerns the editor. From feature request, bug report and possibly documentation. …err, that is, as long his availability permits. Welcome aboard Brian! [Less]

There was a mistake in the Quixie v091124 distribution for Windows. For some unknown reason, the attached binary is not the November-24,-2009-compiled binary. We are re-uploading the correct binary under the file name quixie_091124b_bin.zip. ... [More] http://sourceforge.net/projects/konsolscript/files/pre-releases/Quixie%20(pre-release)/quixie_091124b_bin.zip/download For the users convinience, a ZLib DLL is included. [Less]

After months of delay, we are now releasing build 091124 of the Quixie. That is right, folks. The long awaited fastest KonsolScript engine is out after having some time debugging and optimizing the source codes. Download your copies and test it for ... [More] yourselves. We have DEB package for Ubuntu and other Debian distro, tar.gz for other GNU/Linux and zip file for Windows. Like always, compressed source codes are also available. Next on our plan is to try and support user-defined classes. You read it right. We are making Object-Oriented KonsolScript. This will require some real development time, and research. So if anyone could please send me used copies of any of these books (or any better book that you think): * Compilers: Principles, Techniques, and Tools * Game Scripting Mastery * Programming Language: Design and Implementation You could send me any, I’m not asking much. Although, I’d be grateful if you guys could send all of them. :D — we're not earning any from developing KonsolScript, just to remind you. :-) Mj Mendoza IV, Developer, KonsolScript [Less]
