glu deployment automation platform

This is the second company I've been using Glu now and it help increase the velocity of bug fixing greatly each time. While Glu will not do full hand holding of deploying your Java apps, if you treat it as a platform it is a very powerful and relatively easy tool to use. We have Glu integrated with Jenkins so that QA, Devs and DevOps can deploy new release with just a few clicks, including rolling deployments to production. Our setup are somewhat complex with over a dozen different components that get released at different times, but Glu handles that without breaking a sweat and allows us to have true CI thanks to in-house wrappers written in Python. The flexibility of Glu allows us to deploy Tomcat, Java, C++, Python apps without the need for the operator to have deep knowledge of any components.

All in we got increase in productivity, stability, and have more time to focus on other issues than deployment issues.
