Project Summary
Global Price Parser extracts exact prices and ISO 4217 currencies from text or HTML across 162 currencies and 255 regions. Built on Unicode CLDR data covering local symbols, native digit scripts, struck-through old prices, ranges, and per-unit rates. When a symbol like $, kr, or ¥ fits several currencies, it resolves the right one from page signals: active currency, dataLayer/gtag, JSON-LD priceCurrency, URL parameters, hreflang, and ccTLD. Identical implementations with zero runtime dependencies for TypeScript/JavaScript (npm), Python (PyPI), and PHP (Packagist), verified against 9,179 shared test cases. Free and open source under Apache-2.0, built by the DontPayFull team.
