Project Summary
geomIO is MATLAB-based library used to create 3D volumes based on 2D drawings. The software has been primarily designed to create the initial configurations of numerical simulations for geology and geodynamics applications. Drawings are created with the software Inkscape. geomIO also creates "Polygons" files that can be used to assign phases to particles for 2D/3D particle-in-cell based codes.
