Project Summary
The Gnome Chemistry Utils include six chemistry related programs:
- GChemPaint, a 2D chemical formula editor.
- a chemical calculator (computes raw formule, molar weight, mass composition and isotopic pattern).
- a molecule 3d viewer using OpenGL to display molecular models.
- a crystal structure editor and viewer.
- a periodic table of the elements.
- a spectrum viewer.
These programs are based on included C++ libraries which provides widgets and classes, some related to chemistry and some utility classes.
The library also provides some widgets among which are:
- a periodic table also available as a combo box,
- a crystal structure viewer,
- a 3D molecular structure viewer.
- a spectrum viewer.
