A MUD (multi-user dimension) library, and the game world written around it, Dock 9 is written with the goal of creating a deeply engaging environment. Although in early development, there are specifications for most of the underlying game mechanics, which will enable players to interact with almost any aspect of the Dock 9 world, something not available under most MUD libraries.
Using Sapidlib (http://sapidlib.net) as the core library and FluffOS (RTH variant), Dock 9 is written in LPC, an interpreted C-style language that caters to object-oriented programming.
