Project Summary

The aim of this project is to create a user-/developer-friendly interface for the tools needed by the creation and maintenace of a debian package. The application is still in a planning phase, there are some parts of the code available through CVS. The program is written in Perl, using its GTK and GTK2 bindings (I plan to relase both GTK and GTK2 versions).
debGTK is a frontend for mainly two tools: dh_make and debchange. The former is for creating a debian package skeleton and the latter is for maintaining changelog files.
debGTK functions only on Debian GNU/Linux-like (dpkg-based) distributions, because of its nature.
