It’s been a while since our last general update.  Since our 2.2.release, just about a month ago, we’ve been working double-time to try and get you the latest release 2.3.0 in time for the holidays….and it’s here. Meet Cloudify 2.3     With version ... [More] 2.3, we have a few more surprises up our sleeve, and some are quite significant - here’s a quick run through, and you can read the full blog post - Cloudify 2.3.0 Has Landed. Security and multi-tenancy Deployment isolation Dynamic configuration of cloud driver templates Cloud, application and service overrides Improved OpenStack support through JClouds 1.5.3 In 2.3, we were finally able to switch to JClouds, and consequently, also better support the full range of OpenStack configuration options and the Folsom release. Troubleshooting: When developing new recipes, Cloudify now allows you to ‘freeze’ the situation in case of recipe execution failure, and let you log in to the VMs to troubleshoot the failure.   Even more new recipes, we’ve added a few more recipes to our Github repo recently and hope to add more soon, most notably:     Twitter Storm Apache Zookeeper Vertx; and… Hadoop (using IBM’s BigInsights Hadoop distro).  Stay tuned, there’s plenty more of where that came from. Last, but certainly not least…    We have been baking up an exciting new project that brings you a Cloudify widget or player.  You can read about it in detail in the 2.3 blog post, but here’s the skinny of it: It’s basically an embeddable, one click player for Cloudify recipes. The idea is to let users try out applications and frameworks using Cloudify and its recipes.
