Although it has very little attention, the CMS and actually the whole php-framework is of an extraordinary quality. Highly modular and easy to create custom modules for. Very well documented. Small, but very helpful community.
In general, thumbs uppp!
While it DOES work, it works extraordinarily slow for its size. Even after disabling and uninstalling modules to the bare minimum, it still takes up incredibly more resources than similar projects like TikiWiki.
While Tiki takes up at most, 10MB of memory, this uses 16MB minimum (with all things disabled). For that matter, the installer won't run until you give it at least 20MB.
There was a question on BitWeaver's forums about this but all they said as a response was something like "you need a better host." (Wasn't me who asked though)
Pages also take forever to load (up to 60 seconds worst). Everything else works perfectly fine so I don't think it's the server's problem.
While it's features are useful, I can't exactly consider using it for future websites until the developers bring it up to speed. I had hoped a lighter-weight package (relative to TikiWiki) would make everything a lot faster. At least I thought that was what their modular system was suppose to do. For now, I guess not. I'm planning to migrate my BW site to Tiki for now.
