Project Summary

The .NET Modeling Framework is a framework to support model-driven engineering on the .NET Platform. It provides support for model representation, serialization, metamodeling, model repository management, model transformation, incremental model analysis and incremental model synchronization.

NMF is largely inspired by the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and has some support for interoperability. In particular, NMF contains a transformation from Ecore to NMFs metamodel format NMeta. The serialization format for instances of these two metamodels are then identical.
