I'm the original creator and current maintainer of the Hypertable, a high performance, massively scalable, open source database. I have approximately two decades of software engineering experience in the area of distributed computing and information retrieval. I held and engineering position at Inktomi for five years where I designed and developed large-scale distributed systems, including significant pieces of the crawling and indexing software.
