I'm a Graphics Programmer who started programming on an old decommissioned IBM as a small child of 4, after discovering video games, (playing Game Boy is my first recallable memory).
As I grew up with video games and watched the technology grow and evolve, I learned programming in parallel from scratch from the DOS shell.
C is my favorite language, it almost comforts me. Python comes closely behind in 2nd, because it's a literal child of C.
Linux is my main environ. That about says it.
