I've been writing free software for over 20 years. I developed and maintained ports of all GNU software for the Atari ST from the mid-late 1980s thru the mid 1990s, and also founded the largest Atari free software archive in the world. I was also a gcc i860 maintainer thru the early 1990s. I invented the parallel job control system currently used in GNU Make. Every Unix and Linux system in the world runs significant amounts of code written by me.
