Hiranya Jayathilaka

I'm a PhD student at the department of Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara. Currently I'm conducting distributed systems research with a strong focus on web services and cloud. Before my graduate studies I was at the industry for 3 years. I was a Senior Technical Lead at WSO2 Inc. I completed my B.Sc. Engineering degree in 2009, at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I'm an active contributor to a number of open source projects and also an Apache committer for Apache Synapse and Xerces.
