It looks like there's some troubles with the download of the Rtai CVS repository. Everything seems to work fine when I try manually.
Regards,
Emmanuel.
Hi Emmanuel,
We are seeing a crash when attempting fetch the rlog. We get an assertion failure (too huge to paste here) in lock.c line 178, and the server aborts.
We use cvsnt (not cvs) for our clients, and I suspect the problem is in cvsnt (although I'm not certain about this). The crash appears when the base path (in this case /cvs/rtai) is a symlink, not an actual directory.
It can be worked around if you know the real directory path. Then we can use it in place of the symlink path. Do you happen to know what this might be?
Some forges like dev.java.net and netbeans.org have this issue on their entire forge, and we've written some special-case code on our end to do the path replacement automatically in those known cases.
Robin
Hi,
It looks like the actual path is /var/cvs. So the rtai repository is in cvs.gna.org:/var/cvs/rtai.
Thanks,
Emmanuel.
That's the ticket -- it looks like the new path will work. I've made the change and scheduled the download.
Thanks,
Robin
