SME Server Project not updating

Hello,

our project has two cvs : one for core package, and one for plugins.

since 2011 we moved all buildable files in a module for each cvs project: rpms

all our work are in sub folders in the rpms module , is there a way to list them all , without me adding each folder one by one (>196 for smecontribs and >162 for core smeserver) ?

here is our architecture :

:pserver:anonymous:@smecontribs.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/smecontribs rpms

NAMEofRPM/contribs7/ ( for SME7)
NAMEofRPM/contribs8/ ( for SME8)
NAMEofRPM/contribs9/ ( for SME9)

:pserver:anonymous:@smeserver.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/smeserver rpms

NAMEofRPM/sme7/ ( for SME7)
NAMEofRPM/sme8/ ( for SME8)
NAMEofRPM/sme9/ ( for SME9)

all what is not in the rpms module is either historical, or side tools to help our work building and so on...

unnilennium,

You should be able to do it with two enlistments: one for each of the base repositories and with the CVS module name being rpms. The problem will be, if there is any unneeded material within rpms that will need to be filtered out, you will need to use a series of Ignored Files requests with all their limitations to filter out the unneeded material. Two problems: first, CVS is deadly slow on ohloh (and generally) and second, you need to take in the entire sub-repository (rpms) the first time and then it won't look at it after the first pass.

So, the biggest problem is how large the repositories are...

Your turn...

they are already there, but it does not sync !
:
:pserver:anonymous:@smecontribs.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/smecontribs rpms CVS Ohloh update completed 1 day ago. All files included.
Edit ignored files. Remove
:pserver:anonymous:@smeserver.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/smeserver rpms CVS (Failed almost 2 years ago.) All files included.
Edit ignored files. Remove

I tried to add this one it sync , but the global project still stuck at 2011.
:pserver:anonymous:@smecontribs.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/smecontribs rpms/smeserver-denyhosts CVS Ohloh update completed about 4 hours ago. Edit ignored files. Remove

I'll take a look.

Thanks!

unnilennium,

There are 72 failed updates lurking there. Looks like two causes.

Will report back once I have had a chance to see what will be fixed and what won't.

Thanks!

unnilennium,

All old, failed updates and a new update have finished OK. Analysis is now at December 09, 2013 on code collected on December 09, 2013 and last commit is at December 08, 2013.

Please remind me here if the project fails to properly update.

Thanks!
