Let users unstack
projects too (like burrying on digg.com).
You can remove a project from your stack by pressing Unstack
on the project's page.
I guess you misunderstood what stacking is - it is about showing what you use, not if you like the project or not. This is, IMHO, in no way like digg/bury etc..
