I'd like the ability to merge contrib...
I'd like the ability to merge contributors to a project. When I started working on Bricolage, I was wheeler
in CVS on SourceForge. When we moved it to Subversion in 2004, I became the contributor theory
. There ought to be a way to map contributors between different repositories for a given project. right now, I can identify only one of my identities as a commiter to Bricolage.

I think you already solved the problem yourself by setting wheeler
as an alias of theory
. That way, if you say you are theory
on Bricolage, you should be credited your old commits as wheeler
, too.
