ohloh repository update/refresh interval

Hello,

I read from other posts that Ohloh is supposed to refresh metrics from the SVN variably every 1 week circa.

For the SSHGuard project node, news seem fresh, but the SVN events seem to be last updated on July 2011 (graphs) or February 2011 (Commits page).

Any problem with that?

Mij,

You should expect the project to be updated every 1 to 2 days. There was a failure of the project to update 3 months ago as seen on the enlistments page (https://www.ohloh.net/p/sshguard/enlistments). I have pushed the project to do an update and will report back here once it is finished.

Mij,

Rescheduled job finished OK (8 added commits). Analysis page is at Oct 12 2011 and last commit is at 2011-10-12 (about 6 hours ago).

Good job. Btw, wouldn't the crawler better attempt again after a failure, instead of giving up for good?

Mij,

We do this for most errors originating outside ohloh. In this case, it is an internal ohloh error and we hesitate to automatically reschedule the jobs. We'd rather wait until a fix is in place for the bug. We may have to review that if a fix isn't forthcoming soon, though.
