In January 2011 the OLAT project switched from CVS to Mercurial. I added the correct paths to the Enlisments and dont see any errors. Ohloh says:
Ohloh update completed 4 months ago.
But the statistics dont reflect that, they end in early 2011... What should I do?
Joël,
The problem, it seems, is not the mercurial repo but the four CVS repositories left behind. It looks as if the requests to the CVS server are being refused. Could you confirm that the CVS server has been removed from service and the enlistments are no longer needed? If so, you can remove these enlistments since no update will finish unless all the enlistments are satisfied. I'll be glad to help where I can. Just let me know here if you need any assistance.
Thanks!
Thanks for your quick reply. I didnt know that! I thought maybe I have to leave the old listings for the pre-2011 history. I deleted the CVS listings and hope it works now. Thanks!
Now all the old information of the last 8 years is deleted :-( Any possibility to get this back?
Joël,
If you have backups, you can restore them to an additional repo and add it in once it is in place. It will be a static read-only repo that is never updated. There is the chance that there may be some double counting of code coming from two repos. If you have the choice, try to restore it to a git repo since that is the one with the best performance for us. I often suggest that they start one of the free repos available out there. The conversion from CVS needs to be done carefully so that it doesn't incorporate problem entries that can cause trouble down the road. If you need assistance with that, I'll try to put you in contact with someone who may have some tips.
Thanks!
Joël,
Update has finished OK and analysis page is at Aug 18 2011 and last commit is at 2011-06-15.
Thanks!
