Code analysis not happening anymore

Hi again,

One of the enlistments (https://bitbucket.org/chamilo/app-weblcms ) hung a while back it seems, causing the entire project to no longer be analysed since. Could someone have a look at that?

Thanks in advance for any and every kind of assisstance!

Hans,

I notice that you have disabled that enlistment which resulted in Analyzed about 21 hours ago. I'll re-instate the enlistment long enough to see what the failure is.

Standby.

Thanks!

Hi,

I should probably have mentionned the project was split in two. The enlistment in question was in the new project located at https://www.ohloh.net/p/chamilo-connect/, not https://www.ohloh.net/p/chamilo/

Sorry for the confusion.

Hans,

The re-fetch just finished so I will delete it from chamilo and check, instead, on chamilo-connect.

Thanks!

Hans,

Problem was an un-trackable change abort: crosses branches (use 'hg merge' or 'hg update -C') Needed to do a fresh re-fetch of the repository. Chamilo LCMS Connect just ran a fresh update and is now at January 20, 2014 on code collected on January 20, 2014 and last commit is at January 20, 2014 - about 3 hours ago.

Chamilo LMS appears to be in good shape and is at January 20, 2014 on code collected on January 19, 2014 and last commit is at January 19, 2014.

Please let me know here if problems show up again.

Thanks!

Things went great for a while but now it seems one of the enlistments (https://bitbucket.org/chamilo/app-portfolio ) of the chamilo-connect project went the way of the dodo again.

Thanks in advance again for cheking it out!

Hans,

Have started a re-fetch of the failed enlistment: abort: crosses branches (use 'hg merge' or 'hg update -C').

Standby.

Hans,

Re-fetch finished OK (262 total commits) about 19 hours ago. A full update started immediately and also finished OK. Analysis is now at April 09, 2014 on code collected on April 09, 2014 and last commit is at April 09, 2014 - about 19 hours ago.

Please be sure you remind me here if the projects stall again.

Thanks!

Seems like another enlistment decided to act up, this time it happens to be [https://bitbucket.org/chamilo/co-portfolio](https://bitbucket.org/chamilo/co-portfolio")

Thanks (again) for pushing it in the right direction !

Linquize,

I will check the two projects you mention but it's clear that we are WAY behind on updates at this point and there's not much I can do about it from here except complain. Barring a true failure, we'll need to just work through the backlog and it's a very democratic process (with ill-defined rules - at least to me...)

Off to check up on your two projects, though.

Thanks!

Linquize,

I have forced an update to both projects... No clear failures to be seen and updates in the eight and nine days range are probably better-than-average. Hope you'll see fresh updates in a while (can't even estimate what a while is - the numbers are pretty staggering.)

Please remind me here if it seems to be taking too long to get your updates.

Thanks!

Hi,

TBH I have not read the whole thread but it seems to be OK to post this here (sorry if not).
https://www.ohloh.net/p/flashrom has worked fine for years with the Subversion repository, but has stopped a while ago. It just lists (Failed about 1 month ago.) as the Update Status and that's about it. Thanks for any action taken in advance :)

Stefan,

I'll take a look.

Stefan,

Failure was: svn: Unknown hostname. Looks as if the server was down 33 days ago. Command works OK on my workstation today. Rescheduled the update. We are running somewhat behind and it may take a while. Ping me here if it seems to take too long to see results.

Thanks!

Thank you for your quick response. I'd appreciate a button somewhere to reschedule such an update myself. And/or a clear indication that this is a permanent error that requires a support request (or re-adding the source location?). ;)

Stefan,

That's something that we want as well. It would cut down on the need for admin-intervention. Of course it might also create another source of drive-by mayhem. It's a balancing act.

Re-adding the source location is ineffective since ohloh is designed like an elephant which never forgets. If you delete/rebuild the enlistment, you'll be back in exactly the same place as before, except possibly making it more difficult to trace the problem. However, if you install a slightly different variation on the enlistment, that can work (for example, a variation which uses a different transport - substituting https: in place of svn: or some such. ohloh sees these as different enlistments entirely and there's no baggage.)

Thanks!

Hi,

Two of the enlistments of the Chamilo Connectproject (https://www.openhub.net/p/chamilo-connect) seem to have been Waiting in queue for a long time now. The entire code analysis seems to have been stuck for some 3 weeks now :(

Thanks in advance,
Hans

Hans,

Cleared up the hung enlistments which finished processing 15 hours ago. A new update has started which will take a while to finish. Will monitor and report back.

Thanks!

Hans,

Latest update finished OK 2 days ago.

Please keep an eye on it for me and remind me here if the updates fail again.

Thanks!

Hi,

The analysis (not sure about the updates of the code enlistments themselves) for the Chamilo Connect project (https://www.openhub.net/p/chamilo-connect/) seem to be hanging again. Is it simply in the queue or did something go wrong somewhere?

Thanks in advance,
Hans

Hans,

On the job... The problem is that the Analysis was rather low-priority and wasn't getting any sunshine. I have goosed it up a bit and will get back to you once it finishes.

Thanks!
