Project popularity data dump 2004-07
Hello,
We are graduate students from the Computer Science department at
University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL).As a part of our class project we would like to analyze data from a set of projects hosted at Ohloh, specifically investigating the relationships among
popularity, number of downloads, CM data, ration of incoming/ existing developers and their effects on defect fixing times.
We have a cleaned up/normalized data dump of a subset of Gnome projects but not their popularity rankings and number of downloads.
Is it possible to get a dump of the project popularities from the past - ideally on a yearly or per release basis? Specifically we are looking for information in the time period 2004-2007.
We will definitely comply with any confidentiality companies,policies of Ohloh and will appropriately credit ohloh.net.
