Valid URL's not accepted by ohloh

Personal and Project websites with a different port address is not accepted by ohloh. Could this be fixed.

Example of a valid URL, but not accepted by ohloh.

Graeme:

All our tests here allow project websites with port numbers.

Are you still experiencing the problem?

If so, reply with the page you are entering the URL in and what error message you may be getting back.

Thanks

Yes, I still receive the error.
Here is a link to a screenshot of the error I see in Mozilla Firefox.

Error msg: Link must start with http:// or https://

Here is the ohloh.net page I'm trying to change
https://www.ohloh.net/p/fpgui/links/

I have now successfully change the fpGUI project summary information URL, but the link listed above still doesn't allow a port number.

Graeme, I've found the problem in the code and have a fix ready.

I'll let you know once we've pushed the fix to the live site :)

Graeme:

We've fixed the problem and pushed the code live this morning.

You can now add links with port numbers in the URL and it works just fine now :)

Graeme: We had to roll back the code changes we pushed out yesterday. Some sort of bug caused new user registrations to fail.

So the fix for the port number in project links is still broken for the time being until we get a chance to fix the problems and roll the code out again.

This will likely be in several weeks, after we've migrated the servers from Chicago to Boston.

I'll update this and let you know when your problem is fixed.

Graeme:

We physically migrated the servers last week to Boston.

We just pushed the code changes to the servers a few minutes ago.

You can now add links with port numbers :)
